Gold Hearing Rehabilitation:
Beyond The Hearing Aid

COMING 2027 - DATE TBC -

A hearing aid can improve access to sound—but technology alone cannot address every listening difficulty, communication barrier or emotional consequence of hearing loss.

Gold Hearing Rehabilitation equips clinicians to connect audiological findings with the person’s real-world experience. You’ll learn how to combine technology, communication training, counselling, environmental modification and meaningful goal-setting to create rehabilitation plans that work beyond the clinic room.

This is not simply a course about fitting hearing aids. It is about helping people reconnect with the conversations, relationships and activities that matter to them.

INSIDE THE PROGRAMME

From Hearing Thresholds to Real-World Participation

Look beyond the audiogram to understand speech-in-noise difficulties, listening effort, fatigue, cognition, communication demands and the environments in which your patient needs to hear.

From Successful Fitting to Lasting Change

Combine verification, validation, counselling, communication strategies and assistive technology to create responsive rehabilitation plans—and adapt them when progress does not follow the expected pathway.
